If you would like to speak to someone at the Surgery about your prescription:
The Pharmacy First Service replaced the Community Pharmacy Consultation Service in January 2024. As qualified healthcare professionals, Pharmacists can offer advice on medicines that can be bought over the counter for minor illnesses. Only if appropriate, they are able to supply a restricted set of prescription only medicines without the need to visit the GP.
If you have symptoms with any of the common conditions below, you can be referred to your local Phamacist for an appointment. The Surgery can refer you to the Pharmacy or you contact the Pharmacy directly.
Many Pharmacies are open until late and at weekends.
